We are a married couple (James and Sarah) who have always loved campervans, and in 2012 we set out to find a more comfy, stylish alternative to our typical grey, nylon awning.

It didn't exist so, not ones to shy away from a challenge, we invented one instead!

On our travels to campsites and festivals, we met so many people who loved our glamorous bell-tent awning creation & wanted ones for themselves.

So, we decided it was time to share our invention with the world and, in 2013, founded Glawning!

Our glamorous awning, the ‘glawning’, became an instant hit with campervanners across the UK and beyond.

Since going fulltime on Glawning Ltd in 2016 we’ve gained many fantastic new products, and a daughter. We’ve also created an amazing community of glawning owners and now run our very own annual festival, Glampfest. We (and our lovely glambassadors) travel the length and breadth of the UK exhibiting at various shows and festivals throughout each year. Come and see us at any of these!

We’ve even bagged lots of business awards: most recently, National FSB Award for Best Micro Business, and worked with Johnny Vegas three years running to add glawnings to his Field of Dreams glampsite as seen on his 'Carry on Glamping' TV Show on Channel 4.

We are a family team at Glawning who firmly believe awnings can be glamorous too & our products offer the luxury of home while you’re on an adventure in the great outdoors.
