Driveaway Kit

Driveaway kit for attaching a driveaway awning to your vehicle if you have a standard 6/7mm awning channel or a 4/5mm Awning channel as found in some wind out canopies. So the one kit will cover both options.

The Dual Beading Connect Set features a 7mm bead on one side to connect the kador to the fig 8. The other side of the kador features a dual Bead with the ability to connect to a 7mm or a 5mm Awning Channel. So you can connect to a standard awning rail or the awning channel in a wind out canopy like a Fiamma or Omnistor canopy.

The Dual Beading Connect Set is also ideal to connect your awning to a VW California rail. This is the rail fitted as standard on VW California campervans. This rail is fitted to the California as a means of attaching the optional Wind-out canopy. It looks very much like a Reimo Rail, but a standard 6mm/7mm bead will not fit onto this rail. VW do make an adaptor to convert this rail to fit a 6mm/7mm awning bead. This adaptor is hard to source and comes with a VW price tag. By fitting both the 7mm and 5mm beading on the dual side of this Kador together into the VW California rail it will fit so you can use this as a driveaway kit.

The Dual Beading Connect Set allows you to easily connect your Driveaway Awning to your vehicle regardless of the Awning Channel Size. 

Comprising of a double edge beaded tape and figure of 8 strip to enable quick and convenient detachment of the vehicle when leaving the awning on site.
