Materials & Construction
Crafted from 304 stainless steel, the stove features 1/8” thick material for the cooktop and 1/16” thick material for the body. This high-quality stainless steel is resistant to rust and corrosion, making it ideal for outdoor use. It can withstand higher temperatures than mild steel, allowing for a thinner, lighter stove body, enhancing portability. Over time, the stainless steel will develop a beautiful patina after the first burn.
Operating Tips:
- Start fires using small kindling to establish a strong airflow, then gradually add larger logs.
- Avoid flammable accelerants like lighter fluid.
- Practice lighting the stove outdoors for the first few burns to optimize your technique.
- For best results, ensure your stove burns hot enough to fully combust the wood—this will reduce visible smoke from the chimney.
- Do not overload the stove with wood.
Accessory Recommendations:
- Always place the stove on a suitable base, such as a stove mat or platform, to catch embers that may escape when opening the door.
- Bring a fire extinguisher, fire gloves, and a carbon monoxide detector for safety.
Installation Tips:
- Maintain a minimum of 18 inches between the stove and any combustible materials. Use a non-combustible heat shield to reduce this clearance.
- We recommend using a Double Wall Flue Pipe Section and a Flashing Kit for safe flue exit through a fireproof stove jack.
- Secure the stove’s legs with tent stakes or bolts, especially in shelters that may shift, like trailers or boats.
Warnings & Considerations:
- Never leave a burning stove unattended.
- The surface becomes extremely hot, so always wear fire gloves and use caution when operating.
- Supervise children and pets closely. Consider a stove guard for added safety.
- Burn only clean, dry, seasoned firewood. Regularly clean the flue (every 20 hours of burn time) to prevent creosote buildup and the risk of chimney fires.
- Users assume full responsibility for the safe operation of this stove.
The Gloven brings both function and flair to your glamping setup, combining portability with essential cooking and heating features to make your outdoor adventures unforgettable!

Safety Disclaimer – Please Read Carefully
Our tent stoves are designed for high performance and durability, but it is essential to follow the provided safety instructions to ensure safe use.
- Fire-Retardant Tents: If your tent is not fire-retardant, the stove must only be used with a stove hole cut into a fire-retardant panel. We strongly recommend using a suitable silicone tent flashing kit to safely vent the stove. For fire-retardant tents, always flu the stove through a silicone flashing kit.
- Customer Responsibility: It is the user's responsibility to ensure safe operation of the stove. If you have any doubts or questions about proper usage, please contact us before using the product.
- Never Leave Unattended: A lit stove should never be left unattended. Ensure the fire is completely extinguished before sleeping.
- Weather Conditions: Do not use the stove in extreme weather, especially high winds, as this can pose additional safety risks.
- Fire Safety Precautions: Always place the stove on a fire-retardant surface. Sparks can pass through matting and/or ground sheets, so be sure to take appropriate precautions.
We accept no liability for loss or damage resulting from improper use of the stove (in line with legal requirements, we do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence). Please follow these safety guidelines:
1. Ventilation: Ensure the tent is well-ventilated, even in cold weather.
2. Flue Maintenance: Regularly clean the flue and ensure there are no obstructions. Only use the stove inside a tent if smoke and fumes are properly vented.
3. Carbon Monoxide Alarm: Always use a carbon monoxide detector when operating the stove.
4. Stable Setup: Set up both the tent and stove on flat, stable ground to ensure safety.
5. Fuel: Use only high-quality wood, such as kiln-dried hardwood. Avoid treated or tanalised wood, offcuts, or wrapped “easy burn” firelogs.
Please exercise caution and use common sense to ensure safe use of your stove.
